The Markstein laboratory values excellence, innovation, collegiality, and diversity. We have state-of-the-art facilities within our laboratory for fluorescence and confocal microscopy, chemical screening, molecular biology, and fly genetics. We also have superb core facilities on campus for sequencing, mass-spectrometry, and imaging at the UMass Institute for Applied Life Sciences.
