Hannah Dayton will be starting a Ph.D. program in Developmental Genetics at Columbia University in Sept 2017!

Hannah Dayton began in the Markstein lab at the start of her sophomore year and pioneered our studies on drug resistance. She graduated with a B.S. in Microbiology from UMass and the Commonwealth Honors College, with an honors thesis titled,”The role of multidrug resistance in stem cells.” Hannah continued her project in the lab for one year after graduating and then worked at Harvard Medical School for an additional year. Hannah will begin her Ph.D. studies in Cell and Developmental Biology at Columbia University this fall.
